Empower Toastmasters Club, Bangkok, Thailand
We are a part of Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization focused on developing and improving communication and leadership skills.
Empower Toastmasters is one of the 31 clubs in the Bangkok area, and one of the 14 that are open to the public.
We meet from 12.15pm to 1.45pm on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at Alliance française on Wireless Rd, close to the Australian Embassy, a short walk from MRT Lumpini, or a short drive from BTS Phloen Chit. More details here.
Guests are welcome anytime! See here. This is the best way to understand how it works.
What makes this club unique?
Empower Toastmasters club is the only club in Bangkok meeting during noon time and weekday, and one of the few meeting in Sathorn area.
There you will find people from very diverse horizons, meeting in a warm and friendly atmosphere, willing to learn and to take up challenges, in order to improve.
If meetings usually follow Toastmasters International standards, our members do not hesitate to innovate by organizing regularly special workshops, special meetings and even to change the location, in order to go out of their comfort zone.
Lastly we offer our members the possibility to deliver their speech in their native language, if another member can understand and evaluate them.
You can contact us on Facebook, Line or Meetup, or just drop in to a regular meeting.
What’s in it for you?
Toastmasters is a place where you develop and grow – both personally and professionally. You join a community of learners, and in Toastmasters meetings we learn by doing. Whether you’re an executive or a stay-at-home parent, a college student or a retiree, you will improve yourself; building skills to express yourself in a variety of situations. You’ll open up a world of new possibilities: giving better work presentations; leading meetings – and participating in them – more confidently; speaking more smoothly off the cuff; even handling one-on-one interactions with family, friends and colleagues more positively.
